What a great afternoon and evening in Green Bay South representing GBGSAR! 🎄🥰 It was a pleasure enjoying this day spreading Christmas Cheer! 

We stopped at the Town of South Brook and had a chat with a couple of firemen, then off to Pilley’s Island where we eventually had a snack after exploring the Town of Brighton and the Town of Triton. Christmas Spirit 🎅🎄🎁 rang throughout all the communities.

Our final stop before returning home tonight was the Town of Robert’s Arm where we participated in their Christmas Parade and social at their recreation center. A great evening was had by all - wonderful community spirit! 🎅🎄🤶🎁

Green Bay Ground Search & Rescue is seeking new members!

We are currently looking to grow our team so we can provide the fastest, most effective response possible when our community needs us most. A strong and dedicated membership allows us to better serve individuals and families during critical and often life-threatening situations.

Being part of Search & Rescue is both meaningful and rewarding. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping others during their most desperate times, making a real difference when it matters most.

We were so grateful to be part of the Springdale Christmas Parade this year! It was a joyful and happy evening filled with families and kids, smiling, waving, and soaking in the Christmas spirit. Seeing so many happy faces and families celebrating together made the night truly special. Thank you, Springdale, for such a wonderful celebration! 🎅🎄❤️

It was a great weekend of training, and we even made it out to Breakfast with Santa! 🎅

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at our annual Christmas party tonight—delicious food and great company all around! We were proud to present Dave Snow with an award for 30 years of outstanding service, and to recognize Kirby Chippett for 25 years of dedicated service. Thank you both for your many years of hard work and commitment. A special thank-you as well to the Junction Inn for catering such a fantastic supper!

We are excited to share our involvement in a fundraising campaign that will take place over the winter months. Please share!

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Budgells Equipment and Rental Ltd. of Triton, Newfoundland, for their tremendous donation to the Green Bay Ground Search and Rescue Team today. The donation consists of a Pro II Hovercraft, delivered on a Triton aluminum Trailer.

This is an extremely exciting and significant day for our team. Receiving this equipment marks a major milestone for our organization and greatly enhances our operational capabilities. With this hovercraft, we are now better equipped to conduct cold-water rescues and reach victims in dangerous water and ice conditions, where traditional equipment may not be sufficient.

We are deeply grateful for this generous contribution, valued at $50,000, and for the continued support from Budgell’s Equipment and Rentals Ltd.

Thank you once again for your outstanding commitment to community safety.
