Through Saskatchewan’s Strychnine Stewardship Program, eligible producers can take the following steps to access strychnine for responsible control of Richardson’s ground squirrels.

1. Complete online training
2. Submit a mandatory Treatment Plan and Declaration Form
3. Purchase through your RM
4. Apply during recommended windows (March 1 to June 15 and July 15 to September 1)
5. Complete the Product Evaluation Form

Attention Ratepayers!

There are now scrap metal bins at the R.M. shop here in Viceroy for you to use.
Here is a list of things NOT accepted in the bins:
-electronics
-tires
-hydraulic hoses
-compressed gas cylinders (propane, oxy/acetylene) must be empty and valves must be removed before being placed into a bin
-barbed wire must be rolled (hand rolled is fine)
-garbage
-any fuel tanks must be drained and punctured
