Last Tuesday, North Star's Black Student Equity Alliance (BSEA) was invited to participate in the GECDSB's annual Black Joy Black Excellence Conference.

Our students were provided opportunities to be inspired, develop leadership skills, and learn how to take action.

Our very own grade 10 student, Jay Diotte-Smith, was asked to read a poem of his to the entire conference!

Congratulations to Ryan Reid and Max Ricciuti for being named to the WECSSAA Soccer All-Star Team.

A special recognition goes to Max, who also earned MVP honours for Tier 2, for his outstanding performance this season.

The All-Star Game will take place at the University of Windsor on June 8, 2026, at 7:00 PM. We encourage everyone to come out and support these athletes as they represent our school with pride.

This past Friday marked our 4th annual Alpha Games- "Battle of the Bands". Our wolfpack did not disappoint, completing an incredible day of competition, teamwork, and next-level spirit.

From start to finish, every team showed what it means to lift each other up, include everyone, and compete with pride. The energy was unreal, the vibes were positive, and the battle for this year’s Alpha title did not disappoint. This is what school community looks like.

Tomorrow we kick off our 4th Annual Alpha Games, Battle of the Bands style 🎸. It’s going to be an all‑day celebration of school spirit, friendly competition, and serious fun.

The forecast is looking sunny and perfect 🌞, and we’ve lined up some awesome treats to keep the energy high:

Congratulations to the boys' baseball team on a very successful season. Although it came to an end last night in semi-final action, losing 8-7 to Belle River in extra innings, the team has lots to be proud of. The coaches and team would like to wish graduating players, Ashton Fevreau and Drew Shank, the best of luck in their future endeavors.
