Flagstaff Regional Emergency Services will be participating in an upcoming workshop focused on fire prevention and rural home security.

Flagstaff Regional Emergency Services and Flagstaff County Protective Services will be sharing practical information on fire prevention and rural home security.

🚨 Fire Restriction Now in Effect 🚨

A Fire Restriction is now in effect for all municipalities in Flagstaff County.

Under this restriction:

🔥 All existing fire permits are suspended
🔥 No new fire permits will be issued
🔥 All existing open burns must be extinguished
🔥 Fireworks are prohibited

Certain activities remain permitted, including safe wood campfires in approved fire pits, propane fire pits, gas or propane stoves and barbecues, and burning barrels with proper metal mesh screens.

Please use extra caution. Never leave a campfire unattended, and always soak it, stir it, and soak it again until it is cool to the touch.

This Fire Restriction will remain in effect until further notice.

🥌 Hurry hard, firefighters! Registration is open for the 66th Alberta Firefighters Championship Curling Bonspiel!

Dust off your brooms and pull out your shoes folks it's that time of year again. Registration is now open. Booking codes for the Camrose Norsemen Inn will be provided upon registration.

I expect each and everyone of you to do some solid recruiting. New curlers, seasoned curlers and for those of you who don't have a team reach out we will set you up!
