Saskatchewan civic Election Day is November 13, 2024.
Regular Polls will open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Online voter registration is now closed. However, eligible voters can register in person with personal ID at any Poll Station during the election.
To be eligible to vote in Saskatchewan civic elections, they must be a Canadian citizen at least 18 years of age. They must have resided in Saskatchewan for at least six consecutive months immediately before the election day (November 13).
And they must have resided or own assessable land in the city or municipality for at least three consecutive months immediately before election day; OR are a member of the Canadian Forces or a student living outside of the municipality; OR are a post-secondary student from outside Saskatchewan.
To be eligible to vote for School Board trustees in 2024 civic elections, the previous eligibility must be true AND regardless of where you pay your taxes and whether you have children in school or not, you may declare and vote for either Public School Board OR Catholic Separate School Board.
NOTE: To be eligible to vote for the Catholic Separate School Board you must declare the following: I am of the religious faith of the minority that established the Separate School Division, whether Protestant or Roman Catholic.
