🐝 Happy World Bee Day! Today is a day to raise awareness of the vital role bees and other pollinators play in ecosystems, biodiversity, and global food security.

🟡 Did you know? There are at least 30 species of bumble bees found in Alberta!

🌼 How to help? Plant wildflowers in your garden this spring. Preferably native species from reputable sources. This is important for native bees and other pollinators because their pollen provides crucial nutrients that native bees evolved to eat.

⚫️ Want to learn more? Join us for a Native Pollinator Field Day on June 18. This field day is designed for farmers, ranchers, and acreage owners interested in creating and improving habitat for native pollinators on their land.
