Join Northern Health and MomsStopTheHarm for a free Naloxone training session. In just 90 minutes, you’ll learn how to respond to an overdose and use a Naloxone kit. 💛

We have three training sessions available! For ages 19+, Tuesday, September 8 & Thursday, October 15. For ages 13-18, Thursday, October 20.

Plus, free kits will be available for you to take home after the session.

It's the last couple days to enter your designs in our Library Card Contest! Don't miss out on the opportunity to get your designs in the wallets of library users!🎨✨

Our new cards will be inspired by four big personalities—our new brand voices:

The Sage – for the knowledge seekers
The Everyman – for the community builders
The Magician – for the dreamers and creators.

As well as one that celebrates the cultures, stories, and traditions that have helped shape our region:

Indigenous Voices-stories rooted here.

Pick one. Try all four. Go wild.

Who can enter?

Everyone from kids with crayons to seasoned artists and everyone in between. If you’re in Prince George or the surrounding area, you’re in.

What to know:
- Submit one or multiple designs (more entries = more chances)
- All designs must be or fit into 3.375 inches × 2.125 inches (85.7 mm × 54 mm)
- No AI-generated art—this is all about your creativity
- We’ll choose 4 winning designs to become official PGPL library cards

What you get:
- Your design in the hands of the entire community
- A spotlight feature from PGPL
- Lifelong bragging rights (the best kind)
- Fun prizes!
