Pinnacle Protection Services is proud of our team members who today took on remarkable athletic challenges.

One of our guards successfully completed a 5K race, while another crossed the finish line of a full 42.2 km Saskatchewan Marathon. Different distances, different goals, but the same spirit — the courage to start, the determination to keep going, and the strength to finish.

Behind every finish line are early mornings, tired legs, self-doubt, sacrifices, and countless moments when quitting would have been easier. Yet they kept moving forward, one step at a time.

That mindset is something we deeply value at Pinnacle Protection Services. Success is not always measured by how far you go, but by the commitment you show when the road becomes difficult.

Pinnacle Protection Services is looking to hire qualified security & protection officers to join our team in North Battleford , Prince Albert and Saskatoon. We are an 'Elevated Risk' Protection Company that places a high priority on professional appearance and conduct.

We are an ACTIVE (not passive) protection company. Our guards are trained & authorized to use force and restraints when necessary to protect our clients and their interests. For this reason we typically serve clients who are involved in high risk areas and populations. This position will require use of force in making lawful arrests under the Canadian Criminal Code. We are NOT a sedentary 'observe and report' type of security company. As an employee of Pinnacle, you will carry a Security Guard license issued by the Ministry of Policing, Corrections & Public Safety.

Hiring Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who:
- Have prior experience in all levels of law enforcement
- Have previously completed the Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Training Course
- Have excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness
- Complete a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Have a working smart phone with messenger application abilities
- Are able to work a varying shift schedule, including night shifts
- Exhibit an ability to successfully deescalate individuals in crisis
- Have a valid drivers license and reliable mode of transportation

Primary Duties / Responsibilities / Expectations:
-Secure premises and personnel by foot patrolling property, inspecting buildings and controlling access
-Prevent theft by observing business operations and clients; enforcing client policy and procedures; issuing property bans
-Complete shift reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
-Arresting and Detaining Offenders when required, ie unauthorized individuals, theft, vandalism, assault, etc
-Assist and utilize local emergency services when required; complete witness statements
-Display high levels of professionalism, integrity, observation, dependability, and punctuality

Interested in Security, but No Experience?
Apply anyways! We can assist you in completing the Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Training Course. Once your training is complete team members will be given the opportunity to shadow our existing team until prepared to join our work roster. Other courses that may be offered during employment include: Defensive Tactics, Verbal Deescalation, PPCT, Restraint Devices, Verbal Judo, etc.

Wage:
Individuals who have completed the security guard training course, will start at $16.00/hr with potential for wage increases for those high performing individuals on our team.
