North Island Community Services is excited to announce our Drop-in Sunshine Summer Program, running June 29th – August 29th!

Join Marcie for our Playgroup, featuring fun indoor and outdoor play opportunities for children ages 0–5 with a caregiver, plus Wild Wednesdays for children ages 0–8 with a caregiver! 🌿🎨☀️

We’ll also be providing healthy snacks, and on rainy days, families can enjoy gym time to keep the fun going! 🌧️ 🥳

Please note: This is a caregiver-supervised program. Children must attend with a parent, guardian, or caregiver and remain under their supervision at all times.

We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones for a summer full of play, connection, and fun! 💛

We’re so happy to support such a great community program! 💙

North Island Community Services Society (NICSS) was pleased to donate a like-new refurbished laptop to the Men’s Shed to support programming for their newly donated laser engraver.

When we saw the request shared by Ashlee Wall (Better At Home: Mt. Waddington Region 250 949 8333) we recognized an opportunity to help fulfill a need for a valued local organization. At NICSS, we believe that access to the right technology can make a meaningful difference and we’re proud to support initiatives that foster connection, skill-building, inclusion, and community engagement.

A huge thank you to the Men’s Shed for the incredible work you do in bringing people together, sharing skills, and building community. We’re honored to play a small part in supporting your future projects!

A Big Thank You from Community Links!

Thank you to everyone who supported the Community Links bottle drive, this was our biggest return yet! With an incredible $1,326.00 raised and over 13,000 cans refunded, we are truly blown away by the generosity of our community.

We’d also like to give a huge shout-out to the amazing staff at the Return-It Depot. Your kindness and support made the day even more special. It was a wonderful day, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude.
