Rain or shine… Victoria Day weekend still calls for bubbles. 🥂

Maybe the patio plans changed. Maybe the lake stays quiet for another week.

Those still count as a perfect long weekend in our books.

Bubbles were poured… and a great time was had 🥂

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the BC Wine Information Centre this past Saturday to join us for our Bubbles Don’t Count tasting.

It may have been a quieter day, but we had some great conversations, shared some incredible Okanagan sparkling wines, and helped a few guests discover a new favourite (or two).

You think you know someone… and then you see them pop a bottle on late night TV. 🥂

Watching The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Brandi Carlile didn’t just mention wine…
they popped a bottle, poured into flutes, and toasted.

Naturally… we had to dig deeper.
Turns out it’s Proud Angels Bubbly from XOBC Cellars:

40 years in wine… and a vineyard built for bubbles 🥂

In our latest Between The Bubbles, we sit down with Gordon and Connie Fitzpatrick of Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards — a fourth-generation wine family and true pioneers of Okanagan sparkling wine.

From their early days at CedarCreek to what they call “Shade’s Gift” — a vineyard perfectly suited for sparkling — this conversation goes beyond the bottle.
