Music event tomorrow!

From Kenton:
Hi folks, just wanted to share that my friend Tasha and I (two local-to-Nanaimo q***r musicians) are playing a casual and fun show at an affirming church in Port Alberni. They are giving us their space for free for a series of small duo shows that I’ve started, and allowing us to keep all proceeds, which really helps to support our music!

If you are interested in coming, please see the link below, or use the QR code on the poster to purchase tickets directly from us online — or you can pay at the door upon arrival (cash or credit).

Hope to see you there 🙂

Sounds like a blast!

🌈✨ Join us for our 2nd 2S/LGBTQIA+ Art Social! ✨🌈

We’re gathering again on November 29, 6–9pm, and this time we’re diving into the magic of gilding — a simple, hands-on gold-leaf lesson where you’ll transform a small 3D object into something luminous.

Bring:
✨ Yourself
✨ A small 3D object you’d like to gild
— We’ll bring the gold leaf!

Come share veggie soup, drinks, creativity, and good company in a warm, welcoming space made with community at its heart.

All identities, all experience levels, all vibes welcome.
Let’s make something shiny together. 🌟

That’s it. That’s the message.

You are not “too much.” You are not a burden for feeling deeply. Your sensitivity is not a weakness — it’s a radar for truth, connection, and justice. Your q***rness is not an accident — it’s a revolution.

This Pride Month, remember: your existence is power. Your joy, your rage, your softness, your survival — all of it is sacred. You are not alone. You are not “too much.” You are enough, and more. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

“Research shows a key protective factor for children’s mental health, especially Transgender youth, is having support from their families.”*

We created a video resource for families to listen and learn from people with lived experience and professionals because we know our kids do better when the adults who care about them are supported.

If you are a parent or caregiver stepping into this journey with your child who has come out, this conversation is for you.
