Zunzun Reading Community The Zunzun Reading Community began its journey as a little free library in 2022.

It has since become a significant movement in the Orleans community, offering various programs and fostering a strong sense of community through the shared love of books.

🐞 Teaching Kids to Love Bugs Too 🐝🦋

Bugs may be tiny, but they play a huge role in keeping our gardens and ecosystems healthy. Bees, butterflies, worms, ladybugs, and so many other little creatures help flowers grow, feed birds, and care for the soil.

Teaching kids to be curious and kind toward bugs helps them understand that we all share this world, humans and small creatures alike.

We added some amazing titles to our Little Garden Explorers Collection to help kids learn about bugs and encourage them to explore gardens and parks, look closely, and admire the tiny lives around them.

Zunzun Little Free Library sits in our certified wildlife habitat, so feel free to come with the kids and take a little garden tour. You may spot birds, bugs, butterflies, bees, and many insects that call our garden home. 🌱📚

Happy Saturday! 🌱🐞🐝

Our Little Garden Explorers Collection is out at Zunzun Little Free Library!

Come discover books about gardens, bugs, butterflies, bees, farms, and all the little wonders that make this season so special. It is a lovely collection for curious kids who enjoy nature, animals, and outdoor discoveries.

Our yellow chest is also out today, filled with many little treasures, including toys, books, and even a few pieces of clothing from my own daughters when they were younger. They are still in beautiful condition and ready to be enjoyed by other families.

I added more seeds for the garden and a beautiful Flippa Mallow which is a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly.

Stop by, explore, and take home a story or a little surprise.

🌱 Little Garden Explorers Collection! 🐞🐝🦋

Tomorrow, Saturday May 30th at 11 a.m., we are launching our new gardening collection at Zunzun’s!

This collection is full of wonderful books to help kids discover the magic of gardens, bugs, butterflies, bees, and all the little creatures that make this season so special. It is the perfect time of the year to work in the garden, and help children notice all the tiny wonders around them.

We have also included some fun farm books, so little readers can explore gardens, nature, animals, and life on the farm through stories and beautiful illustrations.

🌱 Happy gardening from Zunzun’s! 🌱

We have started adding seed packages to the adult section of Zunzun Little Free Library for anyone who would like to grow veggies and herbs at home.

They will be available while supplies last, so feel free to stop by, pick a package, and start cultivating something delicious in your garden, balcony, or pots.

And this is just the beginning: next weekend, we will also launch a special gardening book collection to inspire even more green thumbs in our community!
