Last call for bowlers - the final night of Bowl for Kids' Sake is tomorrow, May 2! 🎳✨

You're invited to join us on the lanes at Coldwater Bowling Centre from 6:00-8:00PM for a great night in support of our local children and youth. There will be lots of great raffle prizes up for grabs, delicious pizza, prizing for top fundraisers, and more!

It's been a busy week but we didn't forget about National Volunteer Week!

At BBBSOD, our volunteers are the heart and soul of our agency, dedicating countless hours and energy to their mentoring relationships and igniting the power and potential in our youth. We, very literally, could not do what we do without them and words cannot express our gratitude!

We're excited to be part of this great show!

The Orillia Community Children's Choir and David Jefferies will be joining The Orillia Vocal Ensemble in welcoming summer at St. Paul's Centre on May 21, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free (with goodwill donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orillia). It is going to be a great concert.

Proudly presented by Harvey's Orillia, this years Bowl for Kids' Sake includes the Orillia Bowl Business Challenge and two Community Nights all featuring more than $2,500 in raffle prizes, delicious pizza, prizing for top fundraisers and team spirit, and much more!

📢 We're hiring a summer marketing assistant!

BBBSOD is looking for a marketing assistant (events & content) for this summer through the Canada Summer Jobs program. The 8-week contract marketing assistant will be responsible for assisting in creating content and copy for social media and web, engaging in community events, and supporting the Fundraising & Community Development Coordinator as required. Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a post-secondary program in a related field and be eligible based on the requirements for the program.

Monday, April 28 - Business Challenge! Register your workplace to compete against other local businesses (like Orillia Volkswagen, Michael Scott Landscaping & Design, and Jim Wilson Chevrolet Buick GMC) for the championship!

Tuesday, April 29 - Community Night! We want to see all of our Matches, volunteers, families, community groups, and more on the lanes for our favorite night of Bowl for Kids' Sake!

Friday, May 2 - Community Night Coldwater! If you aren't able to join us on Monday or Tuesday, come out and bowl at Coldwater Bowling Centre on Friday evening!
