The Reel Recipes Student Video Contest wrapped up and York Region students brought their creativity to the table!

From pasta and shawarma bowls to guacamole and smoothies, students showed anyone can cook using simple, affordable ingredients. The videos were fun, practical and full of personality. The students proved healthy eating can be easy and delicious. Thank you to our panel of student judges who viewed dozens of submissions.

🚧 Travellers in the City of Richmond Hill: York Region is widening 19th Avenue to accommodate growth. As part of this work, 19th Avenue will be closed from Bayview Avenue to Leslie Street from Tuesday, July 2 until Thursday, September 15. During the closure, crews will build two large culverts, raise the road, realign the creek and install a new storm sewer.
