Had a valuable discussion with Arpan Khanna MP and Gia Tran of the Lotus Society DTES about two of the most pressing challenges facing our communities: food insecurity and the ongoing overdose crisis.

These issues affect real people, families, and neighbourhoods every day. Meaningful conversations and strong community partnerships are essential if we want to create lasting solutions and ensure support reaches those who need it most.

Had a great coffee meeting with my friend Dimitrios Nivoliantis, chanter at Saint Nicholas and Dimitrios Church.

Our conversation focused on some of the challenges many people are facing today, including affordability and property rights. It’s always valuable to hear perspectives from those who are closely connected to the community and understand how these issues affect families and individuals every day.

Conversations like these remind me of the importance of listening, staying informed, and working toward solutions that help build stronger and more stable communities.

Thank you to Pierre Poilievre for speaking out on behalf of business owners and victims of extortion. Across Metro Vancouver, many entrepreneurs are facing growing concerns about crime, extortion, and threats to their livelihoods. No one should have to live or work in fear.
