Rotary Club of Napanee, Ontario

Rotary Club of Napanee, Ontario Community Service Club Greetings from the officers and members of the Rotary Club of Napanee.

Active in our community since 1926, we are Rotarians working together for the benefit of our community, and in support of the international community service initiatives of Rotary International. We are proud to be members of the world's oldest service club, Rotary International, founded in 1905, and to be associated with its strong record of local and international community service. Further information on Rotary, its history and its record can be found through the Rotary District 7040 website.

🔥 👨‍🚒

Bring Your Loonies. Bring Your Toonies.

When you come to the Fire Truck Pull this Saturday, don't forget a little pocket change!

Throughout the event, spectators will have the chance to vote for their favourite team by dropping loonies and toonies into team collection buckets.

The best part? Every dollar collected goes directly to the cause that team is pulling for.

Whether you're supporting local healthcare, veterans, hospice care, the Toy Drive, the Interval House, firefighter training, or another worthy cause, your vote helps make a difference.

📅 Saturday, June 20
📍 Best & Bash Arena
🕘 Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
🚒 First pull at 10:00 a.m.

Come cheer. Come vote. Come help local causes win big. One loonie at a time.

Well earned Shout out!!

For 100 years, Rotary Club of Napanee, Ontario has shown what it means to put Service Above Self into action.

Their work has supported local projects, strengthened community spaces, brought people together, and helped make Greater Napanee a better place to live. In this milestone year, Rotary is not only looking back on a century of impact — they are continuing to invest in the future of our community.

Their commitment to help fund a covered space at Market Square is a meaningful gift that will support farmers, vendors, events, gatherings, and community connection for years to come.

Rotary’s legacy is built through the people who keep showing up: the volunteers, organizers, fundraisers, leaders, and neighbours who believe that communities grow stronger when people choose to serve.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Napanee for 100 years of service, and for continuing to build something lasting for the generations still to come.

Sponsored and delivered by the Lennox & Addington Chamber of Commerce

Our local 88.7 MyFM radio station is a wonderful supporter of ours!

Listen to Hustle & Heart 88.7 myFM to hear our very own Kathy McCaffrey speak about our Rotary edible Garden at Rotary Park and Splash Pad, behind the County Library.

You can also “read all about it” on their website, Napanee Today - which we cannot loin to directly here due to Facebook rules.

Thank you to our generous donor ES Hubbell and their team for their donation of the raised beds and ongoing financial support.

Thank you also to generous gardeners who donated plants (Sheila’s Greenhouse and NDSS student gardeners).

Thank you lastly to all the anonymous helpers who stake our plants and w**d our garden as they walk by once in a while. We appreciate you!

Yesterday our meeting was an outing at the park!

We met at Conservation Park for dinner (we brought our own bagged meals) and then made our way past Rotary Splash Pad and Rotary Playground to the Rotary Garden (just before the library) to plant our beautiful raised beds donated last year by E S Hubbell.

Thank you to Sheila’s Greenhouse and the NDSS greenhouse gardeners for donating plants for our garden.

All the food that grows in our garden is free for anyone to pick. Please feel free to check it out next time you go to the library or to the park.

Pre-food drive donations urgently needed, to tide them over until the food drive.

The School's Out Food Drive in support of The Salvation Army and Morningstar Mission is coming up on Saturday, June 6. We are eagerly anticipating lots of grocery donations to fill our food bank shelves.

In the meantime, we are completely out of the following items: jam, peanut butter, pasta sauce, canned corn, and cookies.

If anyone could help bridge the gap until June 6 with grocery donations, we would be very grateful!

Donations can be brought to the main office on Mondays through Fridays from 9am to 4pm.

Volunteers needed, no experience necessary.

Volunteers needed, no experience necessary.

The Greater Napanee Soccer Club has nearly 800 players and more than 70 teams this season — but officials say they urgently need more volunteer coaches to keep programs running smoothly. ⚽

No soccer experience is required, and mentoring and resources are provided for new volunteers.
