Our community needs more options for affordable transportation and Ron Yeomans is trying to do something about it.

We support his efforts - we commend him for pursuing this pilot project.

Ron Yeomans, owner of Napanee Cab, accepts a $5,000 cheque from Napanee Rotary Club members Mike Kalnay, Cynthia Surette and Julie Bradshaw, to go towards the Lennox and Addington Transportation Subsidy Program. The initiative from Napanee Cab provides a flat rate $6 per ride to over 150 local low income families, seniors and students. Since its launch in March, the program has provided over 2,660 subsidized rides.

We have many affordable, practical and fun fundraisers you can contribute to in order to help make this project and all our other projects a success - we are currently selling maple syrup (1L for$30) and our 2027 cash calendars are printed and ready to go ($20 each).

We have started a new 50/50 raffle as well, tickets are $10 each, with the draw being held on December 8th - imagine winning up to $10,000 to help with holiday spending!

We are going to be at the market this Saturday!

Our partnership with the Lennox & Addington Chamber of Commerce will lead to an improved, covered Market Square, but in the meantime we are fundraising!

Come downtown to enjoy the market and visit our table. We would love to see you!

Wow!
Way to go Napanee!

Again, we can’t thank this community enough! 💚 YOU showed up in a big way this past Thursday during the 88.7 myFM All Hands on Deck Food Drive in support of The Morningstar Mission and Salvation Army of Napanee!

Thanks to you, we were able to donate over 4,700lbs of food and hygiene items (equivalent to about $17,400 worth of food) and $3280.50, split evenly between our two local food banks!

This is a HUGE help as our youth get ready to head back to school!

Can’t wait for next year!! 🥫❤️
