💡 Did you know? The Township of Lake of Bays and the Town of Huntsville share a dedicated IT team that supports technology across both municipalities.

💻 It’s National IT Professionals Day! From setting up computers, supporting software and managing networks to occasionally asking, "Have you tried turning it off and back on again?", they help keep our municipality running.

Thank you to the team who keep us connected, keep things running smoothly, and are always there when the tech decides to have a mind of its own. 👏

💦 Splash Pad Closed for the Season

After an incredible first summer filled with splashes, laughs, and lots of soggy sandals, the Babb Family Splash Pad is now closed for the year. Thank you to all the families, neighbours, and visitors who spent time here making memories with us this summer 🙏

We can't wait to welcome everyone back when the water starts flowing again in June 2027.

🍂 🐻As fall arrives, bears enter hyperphagia, feeding intensively to prepare for winter. They may travel farther and spend up to 20 hours a day searching for food, increasing the chance of encounters with people.

Help reduce conflicts by securing garbage, bird feeders, pet food and other attractants, especially as seasonal properties close for the winter.
