Watch out for the Snow Snakes!

BEWARE! While tracking yesterday in an area where there was still snow on the ground, I saw a snow snake! While snow snakes are not common in the area I was at, I was very lucky I wasn’t bitten. Snow snakes are highly venomous, and can be very aggressive. Be careful out there while in the woods where snow is still present.

Be careful out there, make sure to get vaccinated, Snow Snakes can get very tricky this time of year!

If you get bitten by a snow snake, usually on the outside of your uncovered ankle, not to worry. If you start to feel achy or have any fever symptoms, take either an extra strength TYLENOL or Advil Canada. If symptoms persist beyond 12 hours, consider going to Emergency Room at your local Hospital.
