A powerful and inspiring experience at the NAAW Accessibility Expo 2026.

The Mandate Development Centre (TMDC) was proud to be part of this important gathering hosted by Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work in recognition of National Accessibility Week.

From meaningful conversations to valuable connections, the day reinforced that building inclusive and accessible communities requires collective action.

At TMDC, this commitment is reflected in initiatives like “The Helping Hand Project”, where we continue to provide direct support, care, and access to individuals and communities, meeting people where they are and addressing real needs with dignity.

We had the opportunity to:

- Engage with community partners and innovators
- Share the work we are doing across our programs
- Learn from diverse perspectives driving accessibility forward
- Capture moments that reflect a shared commitment to inclusion

Every interaction reaffirmed one thing:
- Accessibility is not an option, it is essential to building equitable communities.

We’re grateful for the connections made and the conversations that will continue beyond the expo.

Sharing a few captured moments from the day.

Let’s keep building, together.

HUMANITY is not a campaign. It is a responsibility.

In a world moving fast through division, pressure, and uncertainty, our greatest strength remains our ability to see, support, and stand for one another. Real community is built when compassion becomes action, when empathy becomes policy, and when people choose connection over indifference.

At TMDC, we believe stronger communities are created through inclusion, collaboration, and shared humanity. Every conversation matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every person matters.

BE KIND. BE PRESENT. BE HUMAN.

Building a More Just and Prosperous New Brunswick Through Social Enterprise

The Mandate Development Centre (TMDC) had the privilege of participating in the just-concluded Social Enterprise Symposium, an inspiring gathering focused on advancing a more just, inclusive, and prosperous New Brunswick through the power of social enterprise.

Our sincere appreciation to and all Partners, Collaborators, and Keynote Speakers, whose leadership and stewardship continue to create a platform where ideas, impact, and community converge.

At this year’s symposium, The Mandate Development Centre (TMDC) was honored to present a lightning showcase of one of our flagship initiatives:

Threads of Hope - an eco-recycling clothing bank project.

Threads of Hope is built on a simple but powerful idea: Turning clothing waste into dignity, sustainability, and access for individuals and families. It represents the kind of innovation social enterprise makes possible, where environmental action meets human impact.

Beyond the showcase, what stood out most was the strength of:

X Connections being formed across sectors
X The growing sense of community and shared purpose
X The unwavering commitment to social entrepreneurship as a force for change

The future of our communities will not be shaped by single organizations alone, but by networks of purpose-driven leaders working together.

We remain committed at TMDC to contributing to this movement, building solutions that are practical, scalable, and rooted in community.

Let’s keep building, together!
