Luc LeBlanc went to the Stingray Radio station and met all of the crew. He was able to proudly display the Gold medal he received for curling (Team NB Southeast, which also included David Bourgeois, won the Special Olympics Yukon Curling Invitational). A big thank you to the radio station for giving him the opportunity to visit the station, as well as congratulating him on his medal!

We were very happy to have Luc from the METS program stop by to show us his Gold medal in curling he won last week in the Yukon. Thanks for stopping by Luc!

Reminder that METS is closed tomorrow (Tuesday) for Remembrance Day.

Thank you to Irishview Orchard for providing employment opportunities for METS participants. Numerous participants were hired in paid positions to pick apples at this local orchard, with METS staff providing the training and support. This not only provided additional income for each person employed, but also valuable work experience.
