Important Notice from Holy Rosary High School
We would like to inform families that following a small, contained fire in the cafeteria, ๐๐ผ๐น๐ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐, ๐ง๐๐ฒ๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐, ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฎ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ.
Please note that cafeteria services will not be available today. Students are encouraged to bring lunch and snacks as needed. Our Commercial Cooking classes will be in an alternate classroom today and the graduation potluck will not be affected.
We are grateful that the building's sprinkler system activated as designed and that the incident was detected early. These measures helped contain the fire quickly and significantly reduce the potential for more extensive impacts.
Families and students may notice a lingering odour in parts of the building, and restoration crews will be working in affected areas throughout the day as cleanup continues. The Lloydminster Fire Rescue has confirmed that the building may continue to be occupied, and learning will continue as scheduled.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Lloydminster Fire Rescue and emergency responders for their swift and professional response.
A review will be conducted to determine the cause of the incident, and appropriate actions will be taken as necessary.
