🚒 100 Calls. One Commitment: Being There When Our Community Needs Us.

Every call is a reminder that situations can arise at any time — and when they do, Lincoln Fire Rescue is ready to respond.

In July, our firefighters responded to 100 calls for service, including fires, fire alarms, motor vehicle collisions, and other assistance calls.

Day or night, weekends and holidays, our dedicated members leave their families, workplaces and daily routines behind to answer the call and help keep our community safe.

💙🚒 Lincoln Fire Rescue Supporting Flood Recovery
Lincoln Fire Rescue Service was proud to help deliver a generous donation of Gatorade and bottled water to Samaritan’s Purse Canada, supporting the volunteers working hard to help Lincoln residents with flood recovery and cleanup.

This donation was made possible thanks to the Beamsville Firefighters Association scrap bins and the generosity of community members who continue to drop off scrap metal at Fire Station 1. ♻️

We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to Sobeys for matching the water bottle donation and helping make this contribution even bigger.

From scrap metal donations to a bottle of water for a volunteer — every contribution makes a difference. Thank you to our incredible community for continuing to show up for Lincoln. 🤝💙

⚠️ Flood Recovery Safety Info

If your home or property has been impacted by flooding, your safety needs to comes first.

Before turning your power or gas back on after a flood, you must get professional clearance. Water corrodes gas lines and ruins electrical insulation, creating severe fire, shock, and explosion risks.

🏠 Protect your property & family:
🚫 Do NOT DIY: Never flip your main breaker or turn on gas valves yourself if they were exposed to water.
⚡ Hire an Electrician: Get a certified professional to check your wiring.
🔥 Hire a Gas Fitter: Ensure a licensed technician inspects all gas lines and appliances.
📄 Document Everything: Keep all inspection reports and invoices for your insurance provider.

📞 Call 9-1-1 only in an emergency.
🚫 Please stay away from fast flowing or flooded creeks and ditches.

💧 For flooding, drainage, or property concerns that are not life-threatening, please contact the Town of Lincoln.

🚫🔥 Open Air Burning Prohibited

Due to the ECCC Orange Air Quality Warning, all open air burning is prohibited in accordance with Town of Lincoln By-law 2017-110, which states that burning is not permitted “during rainy or foggy weather, or when a smog alert or an air quality advisory has been issued by an appropriate provincial or federal agency.”

We appreciate your cooperation in helping protect the health and safety of our community during periods of poor air quality.

Day or night, weekends and holidays, our dedicated firefighters are ready to answer the call—leaving their families, workplaces and daily routines behind to help others when every second counts.

A big thank you to North City Insurance Brokers for their generous donation of two First Responder Sensory Support Kits to Lincoln Fire Rescue Services.

On June 30, Leanna Rea and Christina Rocca visited Station 61 to present the kits, which will help our firefighters better support individuals with sensory sensitivities during emergency situations. These resources promote safer, more compassionate interactions while increasing awareness of autism in our community.

This initiative is made possible through North City Insurance Brokers' partnership with the Fire Mutuals Public Fire Safety Council, which is distributing 200 sensory support kits to 65 fire departments across Ontario this year. As an added benefit, $5 from every kit distributed is donated to Autism Canada.

We sincerely appreciate North City Insurance Brokers for their continued commitment to supporting first responders and the communities we serve.

Fireworks can be a great way to celebrate, but safety should always come first.
Be mindful of your surroundings, respect your neighbours, and celebrate responsibly.

As per by-law number 07-77 “A Bylaw to Prohibit and Regulate the Sale and Use of Fireworks and Pyrotechnic Special Effects Within the Town of Lincoln” Fireworks are permitted on Canada Day. Fireworks are permitted two days before and seven days following the holiday. Visit our website to learn more.
