📣Do you know someone that wants to be a lifeguard or looking to level up their First Aid skills?

💦Lifesaving Intermediate First Aid (CPR-C + AED)

Learn to think, react, and improvise in emergency situations. The two-day course includes CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED), medical/legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, burns and medical emergencies.

📋️This course is a pre-requisite for Aquatic Emergency Care, Bronze Cross, & National Lifeguard. Must be at minimum 12 years of age at the start of course.

📣The Black Gold Rodeo is coming to the LRC May 28 - 31, 2026.

***Please note there will be some impacts to the available parking at the Facility, and the volume of visitors significantly increases.***

The included map identifies area activity considerations and designated public parking areas during this time. Plus, Park & Ride and Electric vehicle charging stations will not be accessible.

There are also some changes to our Group Fitness classes and leisure drop-in activities during this time to accommodate the Rodeo Events.

PA System Testing & Emergency Training

Wednesday, May 20 | 11 - 11:30 a.m.

A facility-wide PA system messaging test and emergency staging exercise will take place during this time.

Patrons and staff may experience brief interruptions to activities while the test is underway. Please be aware that announcements and mock emergency procedures will occur throughout the building.

This exercise helps us improve emergency preparedness and response procedures for everyone in the facility. Staff and patron participation is required.
