What matters to you in Langley?

That's the question Jay Lundgren brought to the park after the Fort Langley May Day Parade.

As a candidate for Township Mayor, Jay believes real leadership starts with actually listening. No scripts. No talking points. Just real conversations with the people who call this township home.

Now it’s your turn. What’s the biggest issue on your mind right now?

Drop it in the comments below. 👇

Some nights are worth replaying.

The Langley Strong launch brought together the people who believe the Township deserves better.

You could feel it the moment you walked in. The room was full, the conversations were real, and the message was clear: Langley Township is ready.

This is what a movement looks like when it's just getting started.

If you're ready for a positive path forward, we'd love to have you with us.

What a night.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the rooftop to officially launch Langley Strong.

Neighbours, business owners, community leaders, and longtime Township families, all in one place. Looking around the room reminded us exactly why we're doing this.

This campaign isn't about one person or one council seat. It's about a community ready for a positive path forward.

To every familiar face and every new one: thank you. We're just getting started.

Great to see so many families, friends, and neighbours celebrating the 104th Annual May Day parade in Fort Langley!

The Langley Strong team was proud to be part of this cherished community tradition, walking alongside our Mayoral candidate Jay Lundgren, councillors Barb Martens - Councillor, Langley Township, Cllr Kunst for TOL Council, Cllr Richter for TOL Council, and Cllr Whitmarsh for TOL Council, as well as many of our dedicated supporters.

Events like May Day are a powerful reminder that a positive path forward for Langley starts with community, connection, and people coming together.

Thanks to the Fort Langley Lions Club and all the volunteers who continue to make this special celebration possible year after year.

“Jay’s a beauty.”

That’s how Ryan Jespersen described Jay Lundgren, Langley Strong’s mayoral candidate, on a recent episode of Real Talk, while sharing stories from their university days.

Ryan then joked, “I made a cameo in this guy’s election video!”

But beyond the laughs and flashback photos, he also shared a powerful endorsement, “He would do an incredible job serving the people of Langley.”

Huge thanks to Ryan Jespersen and the Real Talk team for the thoughtful mention, the support, and for highlighting Jay’s campaign to become the next Mayor of Langley Township.

Langley Strong is proud to officially announce Jay Lundgren as our candidate for Mayor of the Township of Langley.

Lundgren’s roots in Langley run deep. This is where he grew up and attended school, it's where he and his wife, Melissa, are now raising their four children, and where he’s built his career and mentored more than 600 young athletes as a volunteer coach.

As VP of Business Development & Partnerships at Agency Media, Jay brings business leadership and in-depth community engagement to a campaign focused on fiscal responsibility, transparent governance, and community wellbeing.

He’s joined by an experienced team of four incumbent Township Councillors united under one banner: Barb Martens - Councillor, Langley Township, Blair Whitmarsh, Kim Richter - Councillor, Langley Township, and Margaret Kunst.

There’s a lot of work ahead, and we’re excited to get started.
