Lac La Biche County Enforcement Services have been requested to provide critical assistance with evacuations and maintaining public safety in Parkland County.

Sgt. Warren Young and School Resource Officer Hussein Ismail are en route to assist with several wildfire evacuations. They will work with Parkland County until Monday. If at anytime we require staffing to navigate our own community safety needs, our officers will be recalled to Lac La Biche County.

The officer was attending an assistance call for a vehicle that was in a snowy ditch with occupants inside. Something that LLB RCMP and Peace Officers attend daily.

Two suspects have been located and are in Police custody.
