Gitsegukla First Nation is Hiring a Housing Manager

Gitsegukla First Nation is seeking a Housing Manager to lead the delivery of our on-reserve housing program.

The Housing Manager will oversee housing operations, maintenance and capital projects, tenant services, housing policy, budgets, reporting, and the Housing Department team.

Applicants should have at least two years of experience in housing, asset, or building management. Experience with First Nations housing programs, ISC, CMHC, budgeting, or capital projects is considered an asset.

Qualified persons of Indigenous ancestry will be given preference in accordance with s.16(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act.

Gitsegukla First Nation is seeking a Certified Carpenter to join the Housing Department.

Working with the Construction Foreman and Housing construction crew, this position will support residential construction, renovations, repairs, and maintenance throughout the community.

Applicants must be a Red Seal Journeyperson Carpenter with at least three years of recent carpentry experience.

Qualified persons of First Nations ancestry will be given preference in accordance with s.16(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act.
