🚒 Kinburn Firefighters Push-Up Challenge – Support Mental Health 💪

From February 5-27 our firefighters at Station 61 are taking part in the Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for mental health.

🔥 2025 Firefighter of the Year – Jason Barr! 🔥

A huge congratulations to Firefighter Jason Barr — our 2025 Firefighter of the Year for Station 61! 👏

Jason is the kind of person who quietly makes a big impact. He shows up, puts the work in, helps everyone around him, and never looks for the spotlight. On top of that, he’s a dad, youth hockey coach, full-time employee, and dedicated volunteer firefighter — and still somehow brings his best to every shift.

Thanks for everything you do, Jason. This award is well deserved. 🚒💪

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who bundled up and stopped by the station last night. We served up a mountain of hot chocolate, handed out tons of treats, and most importantly—shared a warm night with an amazing community. See you next year!❤️☕👻

Today, we honour the 343 firefighters who gave their lives on September 11, 2001.

Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.
