While in the city attending to an important personal matter, I still managed to find time to stop and pick up these hugely popular books for the library.📚

Some libraries are still waiting on their copies, so I'm pretty excited I was able to get my hands on these highly requested reads for our patrons!

Wow, it’s been wonderfully busy at the library!

We started our morning with the ABC Read With Me program with Provost Family Resource Network.
Where the library provided a special treat for all caregivers, supplied by Amisk Perk & Petal who are also here until Friday.

The delicious drinks are flowing and new items have been added to the menu.
Our backyard here at the library offers a peaceful green space with lots of shade and comfortable places to sit.
Perfect for enjoying a book, a cold drink, or both!

Please note there will be no more sandwich board in the middle of main street to announce that the library is open.
From now on will be using this quaint little “Open“ sign in our window instead- a small change that adds a cozy touch to the library!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Reinbold Electric Ltd. for completing the necessary electrical upgrades at the library. Thanks to their work, we now have the perfect spot for our new TV!

This new addition will allow us to better promote library programming, upcoming events, and community information, while also creating an advertising opportunity for local businesses.

Another heartfelt thank you goes to the Hughenden Lions Club for their generous grant, which made these upgrades possible.
We truly appreciate the continued support for our library and community initiatives.

More children’s books have been added to our book sale table, as well as some adult fiction. All sales are by donation!
