A gift to the grads after their exams!

I'm back at Hughenden Library for the rest of the week! I hope to see you there :) let your gr 12 graduate know, they get a free drink if they come see me after exams.

Roasted Readers Book Club - not your average book club.

We are pleased to announce in conjunction with Hughenden Public Library, our new book club. Where the term book club is loosely applied. Tired of going to a book club meeting and feeling like you have to give a book report on a book that you didn't care for, or didn't have time to finish? Did you spend the day out in the field or were you chasing kids around all day and didn't have time to get ready for another club meeting? Was that plot line just to unbelievable you found yourself rolling your eyes the whole way through? We proudly judge characters on their ability to survive a Canadian winter, we DNF books over here because who has time to read something that hasn't captivated you and we think about it that book boyfriend would be able to handle our attitudes 💁‍♀️ and we want everyone to come out as you are (18+).

Come on out for the first night of book club. Where it's more so all books rather than 1 book. We will pick a book to read each month, but if you'd rather watch the movie- do it, if you Google a synopsis so you know what's going on- we won't judge.

When: June 18 @ 6:30 p.m.
