The 999th legion for Child Rights is dedicated to the protection of the child and their right

s. We are a Legion of many, made up of men and women who have common goals - to protect children/youth up to the age of 18 from abuse/bullying, and to ensure they have a happy and healthy environment in which to live. With Chapters currently located in Hamilton (Steel City), Brantford, and Sarnia; we are currently looking for chapters worldwide. We are primarily a motorcycle ‘Riding Club’, however it is not necessary to own one to join once a Chapter is established. We are a group of men and women that see a need to protect our most precious of gifts…our children - all members possess a current valid local police Vulnerable Sector Check. Wearing a patch and riding motorcycles, does make the 999th Legion for Child Rights part of the motorcycle community, and as such will demonstrate respect and courtesy to all others. We wear our patches as a warning to anyone looking to harm a child that we are a legion of many, and we work as one. Additionally, the uniformity allows children and their families increased visibility of our presence within their community. We were founded by Keven and Susan (Wendy) Ellis (both Sworn Knight Templars) on Christian principles in 2016. However, in 2022 we evolved from a Christian organization to that of a group operating on the strong moral and ethical principles exhibited by the Templars, therefore increasing opportunities for a more vast and diverse membership. We claim no territory, nor power in the communities where we operate, rather we accept the help off all parties in the community with the same noble intent. We work entirely within the law, with police services, social services, schools and boards, courts, and other community based child rights organizations. We are not vigilantes, however will not stand idly by if a child is being bullied or abused. We live by our Constitution and hold integrity in high regard. This is the 999th Legion for Child Rights.
