Flushing Update Day 2: August 13, 2026

3:05 PM - ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ž. When you first use the water there may be discolouration, let the water run until clear before using if you see it. While contractors will be doing some related work tomorrow (Friday, August 14) there is no anticipated service disruption as the flushing program portion is concluded.

9:05 AM - Contractor delayed, and should be on site at 10:00 AM, starting flushing at 10:30 AM. Service interruption expectations are from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

While flushing is underway, ๐ง๐จ ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐€๐๐˜๐–๐‡๐„๐‘๐„ ๐ˆ๐ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‚๐Ž๐Œ๐Œ๐”๐๐ˆ๐“๐˜ should be using the water (no flushing, no washing, no hose, no taps, etc) from any part of the service lines. The flushing is to remove sediment from the lines and the water will have this sediment in it while going through flushing. Using water while flushing is underway will bring that sediment-filled water to you.
