From the beginning of this election and engaging with the people I have heard the concerns of disconnect, the concerns of feeling left behind and not being consulted on such important matters like the wind energy projects ongoing in our backyards. It is time for change and change can only come by us the members voting for that change we all desperately need.

As we approach the voting phase of this election, I encourage you to reflect on the information provided and choose the candidate you genuinely believe will represent us best at the council table. I truly believe that as members of Qalipu First Nations, we stand on the brink of significant change if we choose to take action and vote.

Throughout my campaign for the Glenwood ward councilor position, I have connected with many of you, and I understand your feelings of disconnection. I share that sentiment. I hear your concerns about wind energy projects being ignored, and I understand your desire for me to be present in the community beyond just election season. I want you to know that I will be a voice for you, ensuring your concerns are heard.

During my campaign, I have faced challenges, including attacks on my character. I want to assure you that I have always been genuine and will continue to be myself.

With that in mind, I urge you to make your voice heard by casting your vote. For the future of Qalipu First Nations, please prioritize transparency and accountability, as that is what we all deserve.
