Heading into the labor day weekend I just wanted to give a shoutout to the guys who have been an absolute pleasure to work with since I bought this business last spring. The labourers like I were new to sods but now are quite proficient at the entire process from cutting to laying.

Clients have made comments that they can tell the guys enjoy what they do, laughing and carrying on even in the 🌧️. We aim to keep the mood light because it’s hard work no matter what way you cut it so just as well have a laugh when you can.

So a huge thanks to Sam, Nate, Kev (pictured) plus Dave, Dalley and Larry for being an awesome group of guys to work with and for following me on this new adventure of owning a sod farm 🤙🏼

Beauty start to the day this morning! ☀️

We’ve been getting asked if it’s too late to sod or hydroseed. Fall is one of the best times to lay sod as you don’t have the heat stress the summer months bring plus there’s more rainfall/heavy dew to help with the watering.

The window for hydroseeding is closing so if that’s on your mind reach out sooner rather than later. We’ve got a few projects still in queue but have room for a few more before the season ends! 👍🏼

Apologies I’ve been quiet again but extremely proud of what our small team has been able to accomplish so far in this hectic short season. We’ve been all over delivering and installing making builds look as good as they should.

Unfortunately I can’t get drone pictures of the large clinic job we just finished in DL as it’s directly under the approach to the airport (I had no idea how many planes actually fly out of there in a day until now) but it turned out awesome.

We’re steadily working our way through the list but still have room for a few more jobs this fall, including brush cutting/gravel driveway services which I will post info up about in the near future 👍🏼

We’ve been a bit quiet because we’ve been hammering down whenever the weather has cooperated since the start of this season. (Which wasn’t much in June 🌧️)

Finished off a wall from last year for an awesome client to start the season and have been working our way down the list since!

If you’re waiting on soil bags I apologize I’m hoping to have some more made later this week. We are looking for a Class 3 driver to drive our forklift/dump truck any interested applicants can send resume to [email protected]

Soil and Sod deliveries are ongoing, if you’re on the install list we’re working hard to get to you asap 👍🏼

I’m also pumped to say we have black turf - tote bags available for delivery or pick up. These are 27cu/ft - 1 yard bags that are a good fit for those who can’t take or may not need a full dump truck load. Please shoot us a message or text 660-8702 if you’d like to get in the list for one!
