It was a big weekend for our Track and Field athletes. Congrats to Lily Lantz for a first place finish in Shot Put and to Armani Berry for a first place finish in Javelin and a second place finish in Discus. Special shoutout to Rylen Senior for an amazing 800m. And Nolan Brigley brought home second place in long jump in the supported student category. Finally, a huge congrats to our remaining track and field stars for their amazing performance this weekend. You make us proud!

Yesterday, FHCS student Daniel James was awarded the Lieutenant Governor Medal.
The Lieutenant Governor’s Education Medal is the oldest honour presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia. Established in 1961, it recognizes young people for excellence in academics, leadership, and their contributions to both their schools and communities.

Yesterday, FHCS student Jessie-Lynn Sawler was awarded the Lieutenant Governor Medal.

Today our Entrepreneurship 12 students set up shop at FHCS. From cake pops and cookies, to delicious homemade sandwiches and bbq hotdogs and burgers, there was something for everyone. So proud of these students for their hard work in preparing for this business venture. Well done! 💰
