A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers of the Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club for their donation of $16,500 to the QEH Big Day of Giving in recognition of their 65 years of dedicated service to the PEI community. Not only are they incredible supporters of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, they are also wonderful volunteers for the QEH Foundation. We are so grateful!

We’re proud to support the incredible work of the Prince County Hospital Foundation with a $6,500 contribution as part of our 65th anniversary.

For decades, our club has been committed to strengthening healthcare here on PEI, and it’s partnerships like this that make a real difference for patients, families, and staff.

Thank you to the Foundation for the important work you do every day, and for the opportunity to be part of it.

🦁Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club President Barry Stewart, left, joined us recently at a donor recognition event and surprised the PCH Foundation with a gift of $6500 from his club! The club has been a long-time supporter of healthcare on PEI and has made many past gifts in support of the medical equipment needs for patient care at Prince County Hospital. The group is celebrating 65 years in 2026 and made this $6500 gift to commemorate the occasion!

The Parkdale Sherwood Lions Bingo and Lions Club are pleased to present a cheque in the amount of $2547.00 to PEI Palliative Care, represented by Breanna Kiley. The presentation was made by Lions members Terry MacLeod and Peter MacCrady, along with bingo patron Pam MacDonald. The funds were raised through the Club's Christmas fundraising initiatives.
