United Way Leeds & Grenville Community Programs Formerly Volunteer Centre St. Visit volunteercentre.ca/volunteer/ for a many opportunities to volunteer throughout Leeds Grenville.

Lawrence-Rideau, United Way Community Programs connects people with volunteer opportunities and community supports, including LEAP, the Urgent Needs Fund, and the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. Our Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is available Monday - Thursday. 10am - 3pm by drop off at 42 George St, 2nd Floor. To access the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) call 613-499-9393. To access the United Way Urgent Needs Fund call 613-499-9393.

Our Programs Office, formerly the Volunteer Centre, is moving from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor of the building today.

While the office is closed:
❌ Income tax documents will not be available for pickup.
❌ New program intakes cannot be completed.

Our Main Office remains open for regular United Way business; however, Programs Office services will resume when the office reopens.

Please note that our Programs Office (2nd Floor) will be closed on the following dates as our staff lead will be on vacation:

August 3–6
August 10–12
August 17–18

If you need to pick up your income tax documents, please arrange to do so before August, as United Way staff will not have access to them while the Programs Office is closed.

Please note that we will also be unable to complete new program intakes on these dates. We encourage you to plan accordingly.

🎡 Volunteer Gatekeepers Needed at Local Fairs! 🎡

Looking for a fun way to give back this summer? Several local fairs are looking for volunteer gatekeepers to help welcome visitors. Shifts are just 4 hours, making it an easy way to support these great community events.

📅 Volunteer opportunities are available at:
• July 16–19: Lansdowne Fair
• July 25–26: Delta Fair
• July 31–August 2: Lombardy Fair
• August 8–10: Merrickville Fair
• August 22: Mallorytown Fair
• September 10–13: Spencerville Fair

Volunteers are welcome to wear their business or organization shirts during their shift to showcase their support for the community.

Whether you can help for one shift or several, your time will make a difference!

Please note that our office will be closed today - Wednesday, July 15.

Our Programs Office (2nd floor) will be closing today at 12:30pm as we celebrate the amazing volunteers who supported this year's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. The Programs Office will also be closed on Wednesday, July 8.

Our main United Way office on the first floor remains open during regular business hours.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to assisting you when the Programs Office reopens on Thursday at 10am.
