This is your sign to remember: Test your Smoke Alarm day is on September 28, are you ready? Take a few minutes to test your smoke alarms, make sure everyone in your home knows what the alarm sounds like and what to do! But don’t stop there, test your smoke alarms once a month, all year long!

Take a few seconds each month, press the test button to make sure your smoke alarms are working properly. Replace batteries when needed and replace alarms according to the manufacturer’s instructions!

🔹 Install CO alarms outside sleeping areas and on every level of your home.
🔹 Test your alarms regularly and replace them according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
🔹 Never use fuel-burning appliances, generators or BBQs inside your home or garage.
🔹 Have fuel-burning appliances inspected and maintained by a qualified professional.
🔹 If your CO alarm sounds, get outside immediately and call 911.
