Can you please start acting like grown-ups? The Ontario government under the leadership of Doug Ford is being irresponsible and childish. You do not have a mandate to use taxpayers’ funds — $75 million, to be exact — just to play games with Canadians’ future and livelihood. You actually wouldn’t have been voted in during the last election if Ontarians had known you aren’t truly conservative.

And just like that, the same people on the same political spectrum who fueled political assassinations by vilifying their opponents are at it again. For years, people like us—and like Charlie Kirk—have been smeared as “racist,” “fascist,” and every other horrible name imaginable by the left. Now, they want to use his tragedy to weaponize it against their political opponents?

CAUTION: The Liberals’ new speech law will change Section 319 of the Criminal Code in two dangerous ways:

1. Section 319(6) – Removes the Attorney General’s consent, eliminating a safeguard that prevents political or overzealous prosecutions.

2. Section 319(7) – Redefines “hatred” as an “emotion” of detestation or vilification, a vague and subjective test that could capture ordinary debate or criticism.

Together, this expands state power to prosecute speech under unclear rules and with fewer checks on government abuse.

Canadians must be alert: broad definitions & weaker Attorney General oversight increases the risk of government abuse.

Doug Ford is in charge of the largest province in a G7 country.

With a majority government, the Ford Progressives could slash taxes and red tape at any time and make Ontario more desirable to manufacturers.

But they haven’t, and won’t.

Ford would rather pour out a bottle of Crown Royal on TV and complain that a business doesn’t want to lose money in his jurisdiction.
