🚧 Construction Update: Sanitary Sewer Work on Industrial Parkway 🚧

Due to several complications on this project, some work such as paving, grading and hydroseeding the ditches for stabilization, remains incomplete as crews had to pause operations for winter weather ❄️

We’re happy to share that they are scheduled to return to site starting June 15 🔧👷‍♂️

🌎As part of the Japan mission, our delegation attended the Automotive Engineering Exposition in Yokohama, a global showcase of the technologies and innovations shaping the future of the automotive sector🚗

We focused on engaging with key exhibitors relevant to New Tecumseth’s economy, including Invest Ontario, where we distributed information on our advanced manufacturing base, as well as Honda and supplier Oetiker — both integral parts of the highly interconnected automotive supply chain that extends into our community.

These interactions reinforce the depth and complexity of the automotive ecosystem — where global OEMs like Honda rely on a strong, innovative network of suppliers to design, produce, and deliver next-generation vehicles. For New Tecumseth, this highlights the critical role our local employers play within that broader supply chain, supporting jobs, investment, and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
