A Big Step Forward for Ajax

This is really good news for our community.

The new Durham Regional Police Service Division planned for Harwood Avenue is not just another project—it’s about helping people feel safer in their own neighbourhoods. It means faster response times, stronger connections, and more support where it’s needed most.

As Ajax continues to grow, this is the kind of investment that makes sense.

But at the same time, we have to be responsible. Growth should not come with added pressure on families who are already managing rising costs. We need smart planning, transparency, and careful budgeting—so this project strengthens our community without leading to higher property taxes.

Because at the end of the day, it shouldn’t be one or the other.

We deserve both safe communities and affordable living here in Ajax.

And that’s something I will always stand for.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers in Ajax Ward 2 and beyond.

Today, we celebrate the strength, love, and dedication of mothers who shape our families and build the foundation of our communities. As a husband and father, I see firsthand the invaluable role mothers play every single day—balancing responsibilities, nurturing the next generation, and inspiring us all.

As I run for Regional Councillor, I remain committed to supporting families, creating safe communities, and ensuring a better future for our children.

Wishing all mothers a day filled with appreciation, love, and happiness. Thank you for everything you do.
