23andMe has filed for bankruptcy. We recommend deleting all your data with them to prevent it from being shared in court proceedings or being mishandled by a new owner.

You can download it first and get DNA analysis from free open-source tools, albeit with reports that aren't as pretty. (e.g. https://promethease.com )

(1) Go to you.23andme.com/user/edit/records
(2) If you want to download your data, select what you want. Get "raw data" for your own analysis later
(3) Scroll to the “Delete Data” section and click Permanently Delete Data.
(4) Confirm your request: You’ll receive an email from 23andMe, and click the link in the email to confirm.

Rear Admiral Grace Hopper worked on the UNIVAC, one of the first computers. She introduced the idea of programming being a "language" with English words, and the idea of programs that could run on multiple distinct computers. The world's first digital computer, the ENIAC, had a team of 6 primary programmers - all of whom were women.
Their trainer and later author of the ENIAC manual? Adele Goldstine.
The 6 were selected from a pool of 200 mathematicians at UPenn.
That pool of 200? Also all women.

The 6 programmers were Kay McNulty, Betty Jennings (pictured left), Betty Snyder, Marlyn Meltzer, Fran Bilas (pictured right), and Ruth Lichterman.
