The Government has launched a nationwide assessment and registration exercise aimed at identifying households, livestock owners, and communities whose livelihoods have been affected by the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak. The initiative seeks to establish the extent of the socio-economic impact caused by movement restrictions, livestock losses, disrupted agricultural activities, and reduced income opportunities in affected areas.

President Advocate Duma Boko hosts a state banquet in honour of visiting Lesotho Prime Minister Samuel Matekane who is in the country on a two day official visit. President Boko and Matekane will tomorrow commence and co-chair inaugural Botswana - Lesotho Bi - National Commission to mark the new chapter of deepened bilateral cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
