We are delighted to share the successful installation of solar lighting inside the sacred cave of Gangjab Nye (Daper Nye). This meaningful initiative took two dedicated days to complete and marks a significant step in making spiritual and cultural sites more accessible and safe for all visitors.

This is to inform the general public that the Election Commission of Bhutan (ECB) is currently conducting registration for the Functional Literacy Test (FLT), which is a mandatory requirement for all aspiring candidates intending to contest in the 4th Local Government Elections, 2027.

In this regard, officials from the Dzongkhag Election Office, Dagana will be visiting Gesarling ewog to meet with aspiring candidates, create awareness on the importance of the Functional Literacy Test (FLT), clarify queries related to the registration process, and encourage eligible individuals to register for the test.

Therefore, all aspiring candidates intending to contest as:

Gesarling Gewog is pleased to mark the opening of the Disability Inclusive Toilet and Structure at Gesarling Gewog Center. The activity includes the construction of three units of toilets, along with ramps and railings to ensure better accessibility and inclusivity for persons with disabilities and the public.

The work was successfully completed by Tashi Mehday Khabab and Phuensumgang CCG.

The opening ceremony was graced by the Gewog Thrizin, Gewog Lama, representatives from Gesarling Central School, Dagana PWDs Focal Person, and Gewog staff.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment towards creating an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming environment for all.

A consultation meeting on the implementation of the Climateโ€‘Resilient Spring Water Source Revival Intervention Project was held today in Gesarling Gewog, funded by UNICEF in partnership with the Department of Water, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MoENR). Around 100+ water users from Phuensumgang and Tash*thang chiwog, as well as Upper Gozhi, attended the meeting, including representatives who are also direct water users of the spring source alongside representatives from BPC, Forest Division, and Dagapela Hospital to discuss the projectโ€™s design and fieldโ€‘level implementation, with the aim of reviving drying spring sources, improving drinkingโ€‘water security, and strengthening climate resilience in the gewog.
