Today I’m sharing a blog on my website about someone very special to my 25 Faces, 25 Stories project.
Many of you have already seen Raquel behind the scenes, helping the women feel beautiful and ready before stepping in front of my camera. She has been part of this journey with me from the beginning, but this time it was her turn to be photographed. Raquel is also my friend, and as two Brazilian women who built our lives here in the United States, I feel very connected to her story. I would love for you to take a few minutes to get to know the woman who has helped so many other women shine.

I met Leonela a few years ago when she came to me for her first branding photos. I had the opportunity to photograph her again for 25 Faces, 25 Stories, and it was so special to see her growth and where life has taken her.
Leonela has such a beautiful way of connecting with people. Maybe because we both know what it feels like to build a life in another country, learn another language, and find our place along the way, her story feels very close to my heart.
One thing she said really stayed with me: “Speak up.”
I think so many women need to hear those words.

Time moves so quickly.
But photographs give us a way to hold on.
For a moment, she carried her whole world within her.

A perfect time in a ordinary day of a newborn photographer! This is right, when the baby smiles like that, we screen so loud inside of happiness.

This album is so special to me because we planned their family session on Mom’s birthday. It became a celebration they will always remember.

Their son is 15 years old, and this was the first time they had ever had professional family portraits together.

So many families wait for the “perfect” time, but life keeps moving. There will always be busy schedules, changing seasons, and reasons to wait. The truth is that the perfect moment is the one you decide to make.

When families come to my session, my goal is to help everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. I gently guide you, but I also let your family’s natural connection shine. That’s where the genuine smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments happen.

We also created individual portraits of their son and finished everything with a beautiful heirloom album that their family will enjoy for generations.

As much as we love digital images, nothing compares to holding your memories in your hands. An album becomes part of your family’s story. It can be shared, passed down, and enjoyed for many years. Your photographs deserve more than a folder on your computer.
