The situation of civilians in Afghanistan affects us all.
Therefore, together with our sister organisations Mouvement Des Jeunes Socialistes, SDLP Youth and Labour Youth, we wrote the following statement expressing our concern about the ongoing situation in Afghanistan and calling for action.

It is clear that urgent action is needed, including by international actors such as the EU and the UN who, given their share of responsibility for this situation, must now come to the aid of the Afghan people.

Naar aanleiding van het gewapend conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh kropen we in onze pen samen met Mouvement Des Jeunes Socialistes , Jonge Socialisten in de PvdA en MJS - Mouvement des Jeunes Socialistes.

We roepen in ons statement op tot een vreedzame oplossing voor dit conflict en richten ons tot de internationale gemeenschap om in actie te schieten. Zodat de inwoners van de regio in vrede kunnen leven en hun recht op zelfbeschikking gerespecteerd wordt.

Last week the ICAN forum 'how to ban bombs and influence people' took place in Paris. It brought together activists, students, campaigners and anyone interested in changing the world to discuss and learn about movement building and political change.🗣

The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), which received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017, consists of an international coalition of more than 450 NGOs from over 100 countries committed to an international ban on nuclear weapons.☮️

It were an inspiring few days with panels of experts, workshops and town hall sessions under the motto “we have to protect the things we love” about the love for activism and the need for change through an inclusive approach.❤️

Last weekend we attended the YES Seminar in Luxemburg city.
The topics were:
- YES Education Seminar: Build and Enhance your organisations' internal training structure📝

- YES Green New Deal Working Group: Acting for Planet and People 💚🌐

We visited the Luxembourgish parliament with MEP Marc Angel and had a TED talks with Nicolas Schmit(Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights) and MEPS Nicolás González Casares and Pierre Larrouturou.

It was a very inspirational seminar and we are ready to work on and support a Green New Deal for Europe with a Red Heart 🍉🌹
