We stand in solidarity with the people of Romania after a Russian drone involved in attacks against Ukraine struck a residential building in Galați, injuring civilians.

This is a serious violation of Romanian airspace and a stark reminder that Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine continues to threaten European security.

Respect for international law, national sovereignty and civilian safety must be upheld.

We stand united with Romania, Ukraine and all those defending democracy, freedom and peace in Europe. 🇷🇴🇺🇦🇪🇺
