Public University Students' Association of Sreemangal - PUSAS proudly congratulates Nishamoni Sinha , a talented and dedicated student from Sreemangal, for her outstanding academic milestone.
Recently, Nishamoni presented her research paper titled “Women, Climate Crisis and Mental Health: Resilience and Adaptation Strategies in Sunamganj District, Bangladesh” at the International Conference on Anthropology of Nepal and the Himalayas 2025, organized by the Central Department of Anthropology, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Presenting a paper at such a prestigious international platform as an undergraduate student is truly a remarkable and inspiring achievement.
Nishamoni is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Social Science degree in the Department of Anthropology at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet. She successfully completed her SSC from Border Guard Public High School and her HSC from Sreemangal Govt. College. In addition to her academic excellence, Nishamoni is actively engaged in voluntary and cultural activities. She serves as the Vice President of Nritt, a cultural organization at SUST, and is the Cultural Secretary of the central executive committee of PUSAS.
