Prayers for Nepal | Humanity Knows No Borders 🇳🇵

When nature brings devastation, humanity must respond with compassion.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the catastrophic flash floods and landslides that have struck Nepal, leaving hundreds of lives lost, thousands still missing, families separated, homes and communities destroyed, and countless people facing an uncertain tomorrow. Recent reports indicate that at least 669 people have lost their lives in Nepal, while nearly 3,000 remain missing as rescue and recovery operations continue.

Behind every number is a name.
Behind every missing person is a family waiting.
Behind every destroyed home is a lifetime of memories.

At this painful hour, the CWU Volunteer & Community Service Club stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal.

We extend our deepest condolences to every family who has lost a loved one, and we pray for those who are still missing, for the injured and displaced, and for the brave rescuers working tirelessly amid immense challenges.

May the departed souls rest in peace.
May the missing be found safe.
May the injured receive strength and healing.
May the affected families find courage and hope.
And may Nepal rise again, stronger and united.

When Commitment Turns Into Impact

Today, our dedicated 11 volunteers from the CWU Volunteer & Community Service Club (CWUVCSC) did a tremendous job throughout the day-long “Empowering Youth” event, organized by Prime Bank PLC and CWU Business Club.

From packing gifts and preparing materials to distributing food, assisting participants, managing responsibilities, maintaining discipline, and staying until the very closing of the event, our volunteers showed remarkable dedication and teamwork.

Their relentless efforts, coordination, and willingness to take responsibility played an important role in making the event smooth, organized, and successful.

Volunteering is not simply about being present; it is about taking responsibility, working as a team, and making a meaningful contribution behind the scenes. Today, our volunteers demonstrated exactly that.

Dear CWUVCSC soldiers, we are incredibly proud of each one of you! Keep volunteering, keep leading, and keep making a difference.
