Light shore, BDRF organised 3- days robotics workshop in Rajshahi

A total of 45 participants participated in hands-on learning, assembling complete robotic systems with arms, grippers, servos, and sensors, securing them to the base, and wiring to Arduino and power sources.

From November 10th to 13th, 2024, Light shore and Bangladesh Robotics Foundation, in collaboration with American Corner Rajshahi, held an inspiring 3-day robotics workshop.

In this hands-on experience, 45 young participants explored the realm of robotics, building systems with advanced components like robotic arms, grippers, servos, and sensors. They honed skills in wiring, power management, and calibration—laying a solid foundation for their tech-driven futures.

The workshop concluded with a dynamic project showcase and certificate ceremony. Leaders Hafizul Imran from Bangladesh Robotics Foundation, Sultana Razia from Lightshore Network, and Fahmida Akter from American Corner Rajshahi shared their insights on how robotics can empower youth to drive real-world innovation.

This program aimed to inspire the next generation of tech innovators, moving one step closer to a bright, tech-powered future!

Light shore and Bangladesh Robotic Foundation, in collaboration with American Corner Rajshahi, are thrilled to announce our exciting workshop: "Transform Ideas into Reality with Robotics".

This hands-on workshop is designed to ignite your passion for technology and problem-solving while having a great time! Participants will dive into the basics of Robotics and its applications.

Over the three-day workshop, you'll create your own projects, putting your skills to the test.
The project showcasing day is November 12, 2024, where you can demonstrate your creations and celebrate your accomplishments!

- Participants: Limited to 25 enthusiastic youth (College and University 1st-2nd Year)

JCI Dhaka Founders, in collaboration with Lightshore Network, announced the successful completion of the Green Future initiative with the conclusion of a major tree-planting event in Monpura, Bhola, on October 19, 2024.

This initiative had been carried out in partnership with Mojar School as part of a broader project that resulted in the planting of 511 trees across five districts of Bangladesh.

As part of the effort, 130 trees were planted at Mojar School’s Monpura campus. Earlier phases of the project saw the successful planting of 86 trees in Mymensingh, 15 in Dhaka, 150 in Khulna, and 130 in Mirzapur (completed in two phases). On October 19, the final stage was completed by planting 15 trees in Dhaka and 130 trees in Monpura, along with an awareness session for students.

The awareness session, attended by 50 students from Mojar School, emphasized the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change.

The speaker had highlighted how planting trees could mitigate the effects of climate change and encouraged students to actively participate in future tree-planting efforts.

The Business Standard had partnered with the project as a media sponsor to support the goal of raising environmental awareness.
