During rainy times, PM2.5 in Dhaka’s air is getting down but still Black Carbon (BC) is relatively high.

During the rainy season, frequent precipitation efficiently removes fine particulate matter (PM₂.₅) from the atmosphere through wet deposition, leading to lower overall PM₂.₅ concentrations in Dhaka. However, black carbon (BC), which is continuously emitted from local sources such as diesel vehicles, brick kilns, and biomass burning, can remain relatively elevated because these emissions persist and BC particles are often replenished faster than rainfall can completely remove them. Consequently, even when total fine particulate levels decline during rainy periods, the contribution of BC to the remaining aerosol burden can remain comparatively high.

পরমাণু শক্তি কেন্দ্রের পরিচালক মহোদয়ের আন্তরিক চেস্টার কারণে আজকের প্রোগ্রামটি অনেক সুন্দর ভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ।
