𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 — 𝗞𝗬𝗣 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻

The KYP Youth Union strongly condemns the tragic loss of Mr. Mohammed Ullah, an educated and innocent Rohingya youth, who lost his life in the Andaman Sea while attempting a perilous journey in search of safety and dignity.

This heartbreaking incident reflects the deep-rooted challenges faced by many within the camps, where fear, insecurity, and internal pressures continue to push vulnerable individuals toward life-threatening choices. No young person should be forced to risk their life at sea in order to escape hardship or threats within their own community.

We call for collective responsibility to uphold justice, protect human dignity, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all. It is imperative that all forms of coercion, intimidation, and abuse within the community are addressed with accountability and transparency.

The KYP Youth Union extends its deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Mohammed Ullah. We stand in solidarity with all those affected and reaffirm our commitment to advocating for the safety, rights, and future of Rohingya youth.

In recent tragic incident. More than 250 Rohingya and Bangladeshi people have reportedly lost their lives in the Andaman Sea. The trawlers carrying them toward a larger boat were overturned by strong winds, leaving many helpless in the water.

This is not just an accident—it is a painful reminder of desperation and suffering. Every day, every hour, lives are being lost. Families are broken, hopes are drowned, and yet the crisis continues.

The updates keep coming, and each one carries more grief. How many more must suffer before this ends?

KYP Youth Union is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Tonjur Alam, son of Mohammed Karim. His father, a betel shopkeeper, has consistently provided encouragement and financial support to ensure his children’s education, reflecting admirable dedication and commitment.

We had strong confidence that Tonjur Alam would achieve a Grade-A. Considering his age and educational stage, his performance is truly exceptional. Despite his young age, he has already demonstrated remarkable capability and determination.

Achievements of this nature, especially from modest family backgrounds, bring us immense pride and joy. Tonjur Alam stands as a compelling example of how dedication, perseverance, and family support can lead to meaningful success.

KYP Youth Union encourages all students to remain committed to their education and to strive for excellence in their academic journeys. We extend our best wishes to Tonjur Alam for his continued progress and even greater accomplishments in the future.

KYP Youth Union Representatives visited the Matriculation Examination Center and provided refreshments to 300 students who attended the examinations under Examination Board of Rohingya Refugees, including 10 students originally from KYP village.

The visit was conducted to encourage and support Rohingya students during their examinations.

We extend our best wishes to all students and look forward to their outstanding achievements in the final academic year results.

He is originally from KYP Village, has secured Grade A in the final academic examination of Grade 5 under Examination Board of Rohingya Refugees

He is currently studying at Ideal Private High School in Kutupalong.

We, the KYP Youth Union, proudly celebrate his achievement and outstanding result with great joy and happiness. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated teachers of Rohingya Ideal Private High School for their valuable guidance and support.
